Brent Council International Women’s Day Conference on Female Genital Mutilation
Brent Council will be marking International Women’s day on Wednesday 10 March 2010 with a conference discussing female genital mutilation.
It is estimated that over 24,000 girls under the age of 16 years old are at risk of female genital mutilation in England and Wales.
Registration begins at 9.30am and is open to all Brent residents.
