Celebrating IWD 2009 in Medway
This year Medway IWD will be supporting the DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal

The theme for this year’s IWD is “Women and Media” and will take place in the Pilkington building at the Medway University Campus on Saturday 6th March 2010

This is a free event for all women!

12:30pm Doors Open
12:45pm HACO Youth Cultural Group
1.00pm Welcome Catriona Jamieson, Connexions
1.10pm A Woman in Media Sangeeta Bhabra, Presenter, ITV Meridian
1.30pm Tribal Banchees
1.45pm Women & Media – presentation of workshop and subject matter
1.50pm Media Workshop Presentations and discussions looking at the portrayal of women in the media
2.45pm Swarah Arts Dancers
3.00pm Break
3.30pm Workshops
