An afternoon to celebrate women of African descent coming together for change to marking this year’s International Women’s Day. Presented by the Edo State Women’s Association and the Forum for Women of the Caribbean.

On Saturday March 13, from 3-7pm, there will be workshops on how to achieve financial independence with Amanda Coppin, natural hair care with Akua, revitalise your diet with Sylvia Bute and award-winning storyteller Akuba.

Caribbean food will be served and there will be a raffle as well as an arts and crafts market place.

Tickets cost £8 in advance or £10 at the door, with proceeds going to women’s groups in the Caribbean.
